Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the RomanceMe mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). RomanceMe is operated by Hawaiian Ryan Productions. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Hawaiian Ryan Productions. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RomanceMe is a personalized romance reading application that allows users to:

• Read interactive romance stories
• Customize character appearances
• Unlock chapters using in-app currency (coins)
• Earn rewards through daily activities
• Save and track reading progress

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 17 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 User-Generated Content

By submitting any content to the App (including character profiles and preferences), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display such content for the purpose of providing the service.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Share account credentials with others
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. In-App Currency and Purchases

5.1 Coins

The App uses virtual currency ("Coins") that can be earned or purchased. Coins:

• Have no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Cannot be transferred between accounts

5.2 Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the store's payment, cancellation, and refund rules as well as applicable law. We reserve the right to modify coin prices and earning rates prospectively. Consumable coin purchases cannot be restored after they have been consumed.

5.3 Unlimited Monthly Subscription

RomanceMe may offer an auto-renewing monthly subscription that provides unlimited access to paid chapters while active. The subscription price displayed by Apple or Google is charged to your store account at confirmation and automatically renews each month unless you cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings before the end of the current billing period. Deleting RomanceMe does not automatically cancel a store subscription. You can use Restore Purchases in the App to restore an active subscription associated with your store account.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

8. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results obtained from use will be accurate or reliable

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications

11.1 To the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11.2 To the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. You may delete your account directly from Profile > Delete Account. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Your account data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
• Refund eligibility remains subject to the applicable store's rules and applicable law

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us.

14.2 Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
